Design brief
Perro Loco is a Muay Thai brand known for their logo character - an angry dog. Their existing logo lacked a sense of boldness, and they were looking to revamp it to better align with the brand’s growth and evolving aesthetics. The goal is to modernize the character while retaining its core essence—representing power, resilience, and the spirit of Muay Thai.
Objectives
Update the existing Perro Loco dog character to be more refined and impactful.
Ensure the design aligns with the fierce and dynamic nature of Muay Thai.
Maintain brand recognition while improving versatility for different applications (apparel, gear, digital presence, etc.).
Create a visually striking logo that resonates with fighters, fans, and the martial arts community.
Design Elements
Character Update: Maintain the essence of the original dog but refine details to enhance personality and aggression.
Style: Strong, bold, and slightly stylized (not overly cartoonish or generic).
Color Palette: “Miami colors” (pink (#d64f85) and aqua(#77c2dc)), black and white.
Typography: Complementary, bold, and athletic font for logotype integration.
Scalability: The logo should work in full detail as well as in simplified versions (icon, patch, social media profile).
